Hi everybody. This is a collection of tunes that I wrote when I started playing around with Namco 163 in December of last year. Some of it's pretty weird, and I have basically no education in music theory. I don't really have anyone to share this with around me so I'm really interested in what you guys think. Don't worry about ripping this stuff apart, it won't dissuade me from continuing.

#1 Left Left Left: My first foray into chords, basically. I'm still learning alot about progressions and such.

#2 Gan: I tried to not use DCPM at all, just using the Triangle channel for percussion. It had a few iterations in pitch, but this one seemed to be the easiest to listen to.

#3 Perfunctoral March: Originally this was not arpeggiating at all, and all the channels were much harsher. I'm not sure if I like it better like this.

#4 Bone Mare: Triangle as percussion again. Sounds like a xylophone made of bones. Really simple. And repetetive.

#5 Filtret: This one is just weird. I don't know what I was thinking when I wrote it. It was more playing with chords and using the 0 effect for arpeggiation.

I wrote these all before I really had any handle on mixing volume and technical things of that nature. These are all really different from what I wrote before and after. I don't know if I'm going to go back to this sort of thing or not, though I'm not sure they're particularly similar to begin with.

I quite enjoyed this, #1 is good, but somewhat repetitive, #2 I enjoyed, and thought the whole thing could be a bit slower and more... flowing/trance-like
#3 is very nice, I love the mood it gives off.
#4 is my personal favorite, I think the same things I said for number two can apply here as well, maybe add some noise in the background, swelling just for the added effect.
#5 is ok, but bland, I do like the build up you did though.
Overall I quite enjoyed these songs, keep up the hard work! :D
