I was trying to make interesting sounds with and overclocked 2A03 and I felt this is what Famitracker needs to make this option more user friendly.
Normally you'd be tracking in 60Hz of course, and you can change the attributes of your sound every 1/60th of a second, which is one digit in an envelope. If you overclock to 120Hz, everything's twice as fast, and you can change settings every 1/120th a second. If you want to make "normal" instruments this way, you have to make an envelope with twice the length.
Let's say you want to overclock to 360Hz which is 6 times faster than normal. To get an envelope like this in 60Hz: 15 10 5 2 2 1 1 0
You have to make a really long envelope: 15 15 15 15 15 15 10 10 10 10 10 10 5 5 5 5 5 5 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 0

It's way to easy to reach the envelope length limit of 253 entries with other instruments.
So what if there was an option that lets you choose how many entries should make a single 60Hz entry in your envelope?
For 300Hz 5 entries equal 1 60Hz entry so you'd have to put 5x whatever before your envelope values.
5x 15 10 5 0 would mean the same as typing 15 15 15 15 15 10 10 10 10 10 5 5 5 5 5 0 in there now.

Overclocking could have more potential this way as you'd be able to combine the new unusual sounds and effects with your "everyday instruments"

I love this idea!

Also anchor points in multiples of 50Hz/60Hz could be set for refresh as well.
