It seems that v0.4.1 doesn't use the Key skip functionally.

It acts like if the Keyskip was set to 0 and all notes in place are in place and kills the flow that I would have in making music.

If there's a way to fix it so that I don't have to have two different versions of Famitracker so I can continue to make music and as well as listen to new ones from the forum?
v0.3.6 Seems to be the latest one with a working key skip.

You know when you put a note in and then you got to the next row so you can keep your rhythm?

Key Repeat ring a bell?

On the main panel just under song settings is "edit settings". If the step setting is 0, it works as you just described with no advance after a typed note. The normal setting for it is 1, which advances 1 row after a typed note.

Is this setting not working for you?

Yes no matter how many times I changed the settings it always like it was set at "0".

But oddly if I were to go to the volume/effects input area it works fine .

I hope it's not because I'm using Windows 7.

I hope it's just me then, I have no problem using the older versions and I'll just have to use the newest one only for listening to the latest FTMs.

It's definitely an odd case for me, as older ones just work no problems.

I think he's talking about how there's no step taken when you use the Repeat key, but that's just my guess.
Is that right Doctor_Rover?

@Za909 Yeah, but he doesn't know the cause and I don't know either.

@Patashu Well since my OS isn't the cause and it seems everything is suppose to be but it doesn't function.

Did you enable the MIDI sync ticks option (in the MIDI configuration window)? That would cause this behaviour since the cursor will be controlled by MIDI ticks instead of new notes.
