I have been lurking here for about two months, but finally decided to join here.
I made this tune today to see if I could make something original (Before this, I have only made a few not-so-good covers) and I think it turned out pretty good! The tune is a little short, but I think it is good enough for a first post.
Tell me what you think of it!
Good Megaman-ish loop. To take your music to the next level, you should start messing around with what the following things do for your timbres:
-Noise drums that change pitch as they play (gradually or abruptly)
-Pulse instruments that use more than one duty cycle (like the envelope 2 0)
-Arpeggiated instruments on pulse and triangle (like 12 0, -12 0, 0 19 0 and so on)
-Pitch bends and vibratos all over the place
-Triangle instruments that sharply drop in pitch (can be used to make megaman toms, megaman bass kicks, clubby bass kicks and bass kicks, as well as being used to augment snares on noise)
Hi, I just joined today and have been looking for a place to find people to learn from since I started using FT about 2 months ago.
