Hello everyone, I am currently working on a cover of the song Spanish Sahara by the Foals. There may be some mistakes (Let me know if there is) (One intentional mistake you might notice is that I made the chords 1 octave higher. There was some issues where the chords would mix with the vocals section.)
There has to be some work done to the volumes and stuff (Not really good at that stuff unfortunately)
I played the song on guitar, got the exact notes and proceeded to enter them into Famitracker, as I will be doing to all of my covers.
Try having a different VRC7 Patch for Vocals and chords, Then you would probably be able to lower the chords back down, overall it's an OK cover, it just feels very plain and empty, it could just be this is a bad song to try and do an exact cover in FamiTracker.

I'll try that. Thanks for the feedback.
You may be right, this may not be a particular style of music that will work well with Famitracker. Doesn't hurt to try though.
Doing guitar is tricky in a chiptune, since the whole 'feel' of guitar is caused by playing the different strings slightly apart from each other, playing them in different directions, plucking at certain velocities, etc.
So a good start would be to offset each note in a chord by one or two frames from the last each time (G00, G01, G02, etc)
