I'm looking for a few timpani notes for a dpcm, and probably other sounds later. I looked for a timpani F#. I thought searching "timpani F# wav" on google would be good enough. All that really showed up was the wav part. Where do you guys find your samples?

Here is a timpani sample in F# if you still need one. As far as where I get my samples I just generally Google for them. Instead of typing into google "timpani F# wav" you might get better results just typing "Timpani Samples" or "Timpani sample kit"

Do you have a copy of a modern music maker like Fruityloops? I find if I need anything I can make them myself easiest in a matter of seconds.

If you're looking for a timpani set, Hertz added one to the [url=http://www.famitracker.com/forum/posts.php?page=15&id=1032&pid=30114#30114]instruments thread some time ago.

You could download a music player(with native support for old systems like psx, nes, snes, or megadrive music file format), record music from old video games, then use an external editor like MODPLUG or some other software to get the samples. It's quite possiblely the easist way of getting samples for your purposes. If you want, you can download switch audio file converter to compress or convert the samples you have.

How about not being a dick when someone helps you without asking anything in return?

Your attitude shows pretty clearly to me that you do not deserve the assistance that the community is willing to provide absolutely for free. Come back when "please" and "thank you" have replaced "piss off" in your vocabulary.
