I'm going to be sharing with you a number of works that I have done over the past few months.
Some of them original, some of them replications, and some reinterpritations.

Also, I signed up here once before under the alias "Quickman".
I've finally came up with a name that I am happy with.
As for what it means? I haven't came up with that yet, but off the top of my head, I'll say "Obsessive Chiptune Design"
That "O" really throws me off.

To start off, I would greatly appreciate your criticism.

Now for the stuff.
Zelda - LttP - Select Screen
I'm mostly happy with this, despite the fact I was so limited by the triangle channel for the low harp strings.

The Guardian Legend - Crystal
I know someone else uploaded one of these a while back, but I wasn't aware of that until after I finished mine. So I'm still uploading it.
(I hope this isn't in bad taste.)

Super Maro Bros. 3 - Tunnel
I'm half pleased with this one. It's accurate as far as the notes go, but their placement in the speedy section at the end is slightly off.
Also, I wasn't able to exactly replicate the instruments.

Final Fantasy 3 - Cave or sumthin' (I wasn't quite sure on the name)
This one is not perfect, but not far from it either, as far as I can tell. Nothing more to say.

Now on to my originals

Level 4
I wasn't quite sure what to name it, but it's definitely a platformer stage theme. Inspired somewhat by Ninja Gaiden. For the most part, I'm happy with it, aside from the intro. It just irks me, and I still can't for the life of me come up with how I want to change it to make it better. C&C Please.

Dragon's Breath
This one, I had in my mind the entire time I was making it, a boss fight against a fierce dragon. Somewhat inspired by Legacy of the Wizard. C&C Please.

Aquatic Level
As the name implies, I was going for a water type stage for a platformer. But I don't think it turned out well at all. I got fed up with this after hours of tinkering around and decided I would leave it as is. I'm not happy with this at all. However, C&C is still welcome.(BTW, The bassline was inspired by Faxanadu, if that isn't obvious.)

Level Completed
Yes, this is a fanfare for finishing a stage.
I didn't have in mind what type of game it would be used for, I just wanted to make something snazzy. Overall I'm pleased with it, except I'm at a loss for what to do with the noise channel for the last 2 seconds. (It does not loop so you will need to start it over if you want to hear it again.) C&C Please.

If requested, I will upload the FTMs to my original stuff.
And lastly. Thanks for listening/reading/commenting and/or criticizing.

Too much "Wall-o-Text"?

What's keeping you guys from commenting in my thread?

Not much to say. I'm personally not interested in covers for music from same platform (I always can listen the original versions). Originals are good, about commercial quality of pre-1990s. I think you know what to do without comments. From originals I like 'Level 4' more than others (well, who can resist to gallop bass?).

These are awesome! all from classic games, i think its good what yor doin, remakin the old songs cos they were the memorable part of these games, so dont listen when people tell you its not interesting to hear, keep up the good work, you certainly know how to work Famitracker well!

The reason it takes a while to reply is cos this site is one of the DEADest sites on the net for some reason which is a shame

There's also a demake (lower quality and all!) of the A Link to the Past select screen (from the SNES). And I'm working on a Megaman X tune currently, also. I'll post it up when I'm finished. And yes, you can never go wrong with galloping basslines in Nintendo music.
