Hello.

First off I Can say something about myself. Last year I Found out that there's a video game design school, that sounded quite interesting to me - cause I had never really thought that there were such a thing. That I, could learn about, and learn to create - what defined my childhood.

After the year passed, we were five friends that found out we wanted to go here another year. However, we are doing something new. We are now an indie group. We are all still fresh at this, but we hope to learn much through this experience.

I've always loved music, but have never had any real education when it comes to it. I don't know notes too good, nor anything past it.

I found out I wanted to start off my journey with Famitracker, and The best way to learn is to just make things here and there - so that's why I have this 100 days project! Each day for a 100 days I will make a small song, tune or such - and hopefully get better as the days pass.

Quite the long post. Hope you guys Will take a quick look.
All comments to the music I've made is welcome.

I'm here to learn.

They sound pretty decent so far, I would suggest instead of writing a new song everyday just work on one song you really like, add a new effect here or there, create more of the melody and what not, I enjoyed Day 9 the most btw :P

Also it helps to listen to some other really good famitrackers songs and study what they did, what effects they used, kinds of instruments, etc Good luck with your future projects though!

This seems like a cool thing to do from even a scientific standpoint...

Observing the progress of a new famitracker user my actively monitoring their progress as time goes by.

16 days have passed! This is my favorite of my work. It doesn't sound annoying, and actually has a "feel" to it. :D

What do you mean by that?

If I want to continue making music after the 100 days, or?

yeah, I love videogame music. I love videogames in general, and I hope to one day make it as a indie developer. Either with my friends this schoolyear, or later in the future. (:

yea, just curious how far you wanted to take it, if you had a certain vision in your head of being at a certain level doing certain things. i have a heartfelt interest toward guys just starting out or seeing people hit frustrating walls that i'm familiar with. it wasn't too long ago that was almost completely new to it all. it really sucks when you wanna do a certain something but don't know how to exactly go about it. but yea anyway, feel free to ask any strictly musical questions as well as famitracker ones here on the forums. there's a lot of good peeps here that can help you on either front.

also, i like this 100 days idea, it's really cool seeing your progress.

Might actually have to do this myself one day - even if I'm not doing FamiTracker stuff all the time and rather little MIDI doodles, it would certainly be interesting to see how my inspiration works.

Today is day 30. I'm just kinda blown away how fast the time actually goes. On the musical side - I, myself think my songs are starting to get more catchy. Not sure though, as it's my own opinion. :P

Still, I don't regret one bit that I started this project. Has been a couple days I didn't manage to make ANYTHING good, and just had a lack of motivation. But for the most of the time, I love this. :D

Day 40 was now made.
I just gotta say I've had some really bad songs. It's really hard trying to do something new every day. :P

I'm just throwing it out there; I reeeally recommend having a project like this, especially if you're new and want to start out with famitracker. :D

After some thinking, I've decided to Stop this project. My reasons are that 100 days are way too long. I've learned plenty through these days of chipping, but I feel like I've come to this stage where I should focus more on fewer songs, and not small tunes.

So this is a stop on this project, but believe me, not a stop on my love for music.
