Arpeggios aren't the same as pressing three notes together. It's like switching notes very fast(aprpeggios) on a guitar. It does not sound the same.

Arpeggios are Monophonic! Even at the Instrumenteditor whatever in which speed you set it and on how many notes in the instrumenteditor you set, it is still Monophonic! Not Polyphonic!

No one is saying arpeggios are polyphonic, just that super fast arpeggios can still convey the "feel" of a chord just fine.

The reverse isn't true, though - not every high speed arpeggio sounds good as a chord.
