Hi everyone! I have posted somewhere on these forums that I would create a VRC6 version of Just Like You Imagined by Nine Inch Nails. They are (he is) my favorite band, and so I chose to pay homage to this splendid work of art. I hope you like it.

You now process Dracula's Rib. Good luck processing it...
If you've heard the original version of Just Like You Imagined by Nine Inch Nails (last.fm let's you listen to NIN songs for free just in case you don't own The Fragile and want to hear it), you'd understand why I would want to render this in VRC6.
If you have never heard of Nine Inch Nails, I suggest you buy at least one of their works (Pretty Hate Machine, Broken, The Downward Spiral, The Fragile, With Teeth, Year Zero, Ghosts I-IV, The Slip). I recommend The Downward Spiral. I digress, though...
This particular song is from The Fragile album, and it is an aural experience to behold, just like NIN's other works. I loved it so much, I was excited when JSR was going to add KONAMI's VRC6 support to FamiTracker. Now you see why...
Oh. I just wanted to be able to export it as a .wav or whatever and I just thought that it would be easier to do it that way then convert the .nsf to a .wav. If you can't find it or even if you don't feel like looking for it, it's no biggie. Just thought it would be cool to burn onto a cd and whatnot. But again, no biggie.
I was more worried more about the original author of this song more than me. I just simply wanted to show appreciation by rendering one of his masterpieces in VRC6 and share it with those who have the same passion I do. There are people that do stupid things out there.
Fortunately, no one here on this forum strikes me as such.
I was wrong to be worried. You guys are cool... That, and I am quite sure since this has been cleared up what your intentions are anyway (you have an MP3 device, I am sure - I am going to render Energy Tank to MP3, as it's that good (^-^)b )
(^-^ )7
Anyway, I couldn't find the original for you, so I will do you the favor and render the thing to WAV myself via emulator. I am also going to render the thing to MP3 just in case, too.
Whew...
Anyway, I'm glad you like it that much you guys... (^.^ )'
Just give me a few minutes...
EDIT: Yeah... sorry about the hour, as compared to the minutes I said. Here they are, mina-san...
Edit 2: I couldn't send the WAV and MP3 because of size, sorry. What I DO recommend is grabbing FCEU (it's an emulator that has a built-in NSF player - google it, download from FCEU's site, unzip to a new folder on your desktop or wherever, fire it up, load the NSF file, and log WAV. That's all I can really suggest to you, unfortunately.
Alright, I'll try that. And, seriously, I wouldn't worry at all about Trent "I give away my music for free and don't care what people do with it" Reznor's feelings about it. He probably would think it's awesome anyways.
No, I don't. But I have made four remixes for songs from Year Zero, but they are all 128kbps mp3s so meh. I do make my own music (or noise) though. If you want to check it out (yes, it's all free) go here: www.1134r.blogspot.com
This is a very unusual sounding NSF, for sure -- not in a bad way, it's just very idiosyncratic. very interesting - wonder how long it took you to make =o
