It's set to \ - but note release also starts set to \, and when you hit \ note release is what comes out - which is a beginner trap, as note release does [b]nothing[/b] if your instruments have no release envelopes anyway. Note cut should be easier to get to than note release, not the other way around.

Yes, but the default is how any newcomer sees it. And by default, one of the most useful keys (note cut) is hidden from use.

Several keys was assigned to note cut earlier but all these was removed when they key got customizable and the initial key (<) was made default, which I guess is not that common then. I might as well change this default key if users needs to change it anyway.

Great!, it was already added and my post here was actually a joke because:

CHANGELOG SO FAR:
Added new shortcuts: Ctrl+Left/Right to swap between channels.
Fixed a bug in Genesis that was present after loading some type of presets.
Fixed the relation between EDxx (note delay) and other effects.
Manual Updated.
