Hello!

FamiTracker is my new best friend. I've been wanting to get into chiptunes for a while and this seemed like the perfect program. I'm only just figuring things out but I think I'm getting the hang of it.

I am having one issue that I hope someone can help me with. It seems like my volume control column doesn't have any noticeable effect on the notes. Did i not set something properly. I've noticed this for both the noise and square channels. For instance, I have a noise track for hi-hats, and have gotten the rhythm right with a combination of notes and note cuts, but I've tried changing the volume value throughout to add variation but there is no change from note to note. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Also, I did do a search to see if I could find any other threads about this subject but wasn't able to find one. Sorry if this has been discussed before!

Hi, that should work fine. Someone can probably help you point out the problem if you attach an example.

One thing that's good to keep in mind is that low volumes are rounded to 1 rather than 0, to avoid notes being cut too early.
