Hey how do I do anything with famitracker or any tracker I'm really struggling, I don't get how you enter music into famitracker, or how it works at all. I'm complete newb. is there a tutorial that tells you how to use this stuff. it doesn't put down anything? How do the instruments work?
That tutorial will help you getting started.
But it may be worth telling that it's based on the previous version (0.2.4) so the instrument editor is a bit different. Download it if you get problems with current version.
Do you guys know how to chip sounds like the ones in famitracker for other tracker systems? I wanna know how to have many beeps and boops I don't get how some people make really cool music and get the chiptune songs when I don't have any. How do I get them for other trackers?
Other trackers are using samples, while Famitracker is generating those automatically.
If you have files with chip music then you can probably just open them in any normal sample based tracker (Modplug, milkytracker, madtracker etc). Then it's usually possible to just copy the sounds and use them in your own tunes.
Hiya, im really enjoying Famitracker. At first i found it very difficult because i had never used any tracker programs! But Im Slowly getting the hang of it!
Could any one recommend any programs that will play back nsf. Once they have been exported from famitracker?

I Have The Triangle Channel Selected (I Think, The Word TRIANGLE Has Turned Red) And I Have Pressed +, But Theres No 01.
If the word "triangle" has turned red then you muted the triangle channel. What you should be doing is clicking somewhere in the triangle channel so that it has the editing cursor, and then clicking the + thing. Or you could also click the appropriate square in the frame editor before clicking the +.
