This clashes with BotB's Summer Chip 2, so probably no entry from me.

I'll enter something if I think of a good composition to make.

I'll tentatively place my name in the hat for this one....

but I can't promise i'll finish something. I've got something in the works, and just want to be eligible for submission, should I finish it, I guess.

First time entering a contest, but I was so intrigued by Demo Compo 5 that I decided I'll try this. Never done FDS but it's worth a shot!

I'll let this one pass most likely but I'm going to vote if there won't be too many entries.

I'm pretty much done with mine. It just needs some tweaks and I should be set.

Just a warning, if you're going to be using high frequency modulation (e.g. modulator in audio frequency range, not as LFO), there is some uncertainty about how it sounds on hardware and may be subject to change in the future.

I've noticed some strange incongruencies with the FDS while working on this song.

I'm using it as a reverb channel in one section and in copying over the notes from the square channel it was instantly clear that all my Qxy, Rxy, 2xx, and 4xy effects are affecting the FDS channel's pitch much differently than the square channel's. Puzzlingly, I had to make the speed value of the Qxy and Rxy effects 8 times greater to approximate the square channel. Also, I had to make the speed value of the 2xx effects 4 times greater, and I had to make the intensity of the 4xy effects 2 times greater.

Also, I set the vibrato style of the track to the old (bend up) style to simulate the kind of vibrato you would get with an actual guitar. However, even in so doing, the FDS channel seems to still be using the new (bend up and down) style anyway, which is somewhat frustrating. It's pretty hard to notice since the reverb is so quiet, but I just thought that was strange and potentially worth pointing out.
