Ah, yes. The right place for bugs and such...

Anyway, please listen to my bug discovery:

There seems to be a tiny bug in the Sawtooth channel of the VRC6 and it has to do with volume. On the higher duty cycles for the Saw, there is no volume lowering, but instead what I am hearing is distortion differences. You'll have to hear what I mean.

Attached are the FTM file of Megaman2VRC6 and the NSF counterpart.

I don't know whether or not if it's a bug on FT's end, but I'm glad I could provide input which will improve the quality of this tracker.

This distortion is normal and real hardware does this. You can have a look in the NESDev wiki. BTW, because the saw wave has 6 bit volume control, JSR had to use duty cycle effect in order to get those 2 extra bits

i'd like to see a guide written on how to use the saw channel. i don't fully understand how to use it to get a full range of timbres from it.
