Definitely worth every penny I spent on it. It supports every sound expansion for NSF, and it supports a bunch of other formats as well (MOD/S3M/XM/IT, MIDI, AY, VGM, GBS, SPC, SAP... you name it, it supports it).

It exists, and it's called foobar2000 w/ plugins.
Incidentally, Modizer's NSF/VGM/SPC/AY/etc. player uses the same libraries as foobar2000's Game Emu Player.
Oh and it's kind of implied by the fact I recommended them in this topic, but both support NSFe files.
