would it be possible to have[url=http://chipmusic.org/forums/topic/1465/nsfe-nsfextra-thread-tutorial-discussion-etc/] nsfe as an option to export the song in famitracker?

NotSo Fatso supports creating & playing NSFe files, FlashNSF plays them & it's actually a format that's trying hard to avoid the faults & issues of the iNES standard (i.e.: where NSFs are modified iNES ROMs, NSFe files are more refined & the format is trying to follow the goals of the UNIF format).
Mind you, I can see where JSR's coming from (especially since there are already so many things he has to do with FamiTracker as it stands).

Technology: the one thing that's hated & cursed at by all engineers, technologists, scientists & technicians!
That's not correct. NSF rips are created by modifying a ROM dump from an NES cartridge. Both the iNES and UNIF formats will contain exactly the same ROM dump, the only difference is header/container information surrounding the ROM dump. A NSF is just as much a moddified iNES as it is a modified UNIF. It contains none of the header/container information of either format.
The only similarity NSFe has to UNIF is that they have a similar "chunk" style container format, but the details of the container don't themselves add any important functionality. UNIF tried to solve problems with iNES by adding additional information not present in the iNES format. (Ultimately the extra information needed could usually be deduced from the ROM dump itself anyway, so UNIF didn't really catch on, but that's another story.)
All NSFe really adds is track names and times, and a few other bits of text associated with the NSF. The internal functional ROM data is identical to NSF.
NSF2 attempts to add some interesting functionality to capabilities of the ROM, while maintaining full backwards compatibility with NSF, but so far it remains a largely theoretical standard.

I record (some) NSFs on hardware. Feel free to [url=http://www.famitracker.com/forum/posts.php?id=3633]request a hardware render.
It was a bit of a mistake, but I Rednecked and bought it before I knew what all it could do. But, I put my +1 anyway, since thats 2 dollars that wont come back anyway. XD

You should've gone for Modizer, my friend. It is a bit more expensive but it's sooooooo much more worth it.
