I think I may be missing something. Whenever I edit an instrument off of my instruments list, it applies the modification to ALL of the instruments...very frustrating for obvious reasons, haha.

Otherwise, loving the newest build of Famitracker.

Hope you guys can assist in my dilemma.

You must use different sequences (envelopes) for each instrument, see # column and Sequence select in the Instrument settings dialog.

as a simple answer, every instrument shares the same sequences. if you want to change something, you have to choose another sequence and make it there. as you already noticed, you can reuse the same sequence across any number of other instruments.

The only exception is add-on chips (VRC6 and the like). I figured I'd throw that out there for everyone.

Yes, the 2a03 sequences can be used for the first four 2a03 channels (the fifth one as well, if you have a DPCM sample on that sequence).

yeah, expansion chips are treated as a separate part from the regular ones. they have their own set of sequences.
