Surely we all have a list, mental or otherwise, of tunes we want to cover in FamiTracker when we can find the time to do so. ITT we share our lists, if we feel so inclined, including which expansion modules we intend to use, if any.
Here's my list, in no particular order.[ul][li]To Far Away Times (Chrono Trigger, Yasunori Mitsuda) — VRC6
I do have someone's (I forget whose) FTM of the first few measures of To Far Away Times, as well as Morning Sunlight, in VRC6. I'd like to make a complete version because this is such a good song.[/li][li]The Main Theme of Final Fantasy VII (Final Fantasy VII, Nobuo Uematsu) — probably N163
Hearing a few of coatlesscarl's covers on YouTube and seeing that this piece is absent really makes me want to cover it. I'd probably try to do something like the orchestral version that's on so many compilations.[/li][li]Return to Mother Earth (Terranigma, Miyoko Kobayashi and Masanori Hikichi) — VRC6[/li][li]Staff Credit (Final Fantasy TacticsMasaharu Iwata and Hitoshi Sakimoto) — I'll try N163 again
I love a good ending theme.[/li][li]Adagio for Strings (String Quartet, Samuel Barber) — probably VRC6, unless I can make some really good VRC7 instruments[/li][li]Fear of the Heavens (Secret of Mana, Hiroki Kikuta) — VRC6
I started this one a while back and didn't get too far into it, but I'd really like to pick it up again[/li][/ul]That's all I can think of right now. How about you guys?
[ul][li]Everything (Various Artists) — 2A03/FDS/VRC6/VRC7/MMC5/N163/5B
I started working on this in 2007, haven't gotten too far though.[/ul]

I record (some) NSFs on hardware. Feel free to request a hardware render.
Haha, I'm just messing around. Truth be told, I never really kept a list. If I stumble across something I want to cover, I'll usually spend like 6 hours to cover it entirely, and move on to something else haha
But I find this idea interesting, I'd love to see how many more people keep a cover wishlist. :)

[ul][li]To Far Away Times (Chrono Trigger, Yasunori Mitsuda) — VRC6

Are these the modules you have?
I never did find the motivation to finish "To Far Away Times", but if you feel my ftm might be useful in some way then by all means use it however you wish
Whether or not they'd be of any use is doubtful though, seeing as how my volume control/instrumentation was horrendous and I had no idea at all whatsoever as to what I was doing at the time.
Yes, that was it. To be honest, I really only disliked your arps, zeph. Other than that, though, it's a nice starting point and I'll probably use it for reference.
[ul][li]Entire Soundtrack (Yu-Gi-Oh! The Eternal Duelist Soul, i don't know the composer's name) — 2A03, possibly MMC5
i just really love that soundtrack and what's best is that it is essentially just 2a03 with realistic sounding cymbals for noise and realistic sounding dpcm drums. though one of the songs uses three squares and a triangle so thats why i put possibly MMC5
if anyone wants to help me out on this one i'll love them forever. heres something i got started with but im not sure if i did it right
Some time I'm gonna cover Caramelldansen (VRC6), but I have no idea when that will happen (if ever)
I also started covering Fireflies by Owl something a long time ago, but it seems that it's been covered soo many times already. So I don't know if I'll finish that.
[ul][li]Whole Soundtrack (Mighty Switch Force!, Jake Kaufman) - VRC6
This has been on my list for a while, but I'm waiting for a good time for virt to make the stems. Covering these by ear is a gigantic pain.[/li][li]Whole Album (Is, Hey Ocean!) - Various chips
A project I was asked to do after another cover I did of them. I've lacked the time to do it, but they've also lacked the time to bother me about it, so it works.[/li][/ul]
And way in the field of "Yeah sure, I'll do this when I feel like it"...
[ul][li]Entire Soundtracks (Streets of Rage 1 and 3, Yuzo Koshiro and Motohiro Kawashima) - VRC6 (likely)
I've been asked to complete the series by a few people. It sounds like fun, but I have other things to cover first, hence its position.[/li][/ul]
I also have a vague idea of a whole original Pokemon-style soundtrack for VRC6, but there's more research to be done there before I can continue.
(Also, why the specific color codes? I don't want to copy/paste those in! Use words, they're easier to manage.)
