31/07/2012: Congratulations everyone! I'd like to mention once again that I am very, very proud of everyone who entered. Even if you didn't make it to the top half, you can rest assured that you have made history by partaking is what I personally believe is the NSF pack with the highest amount of top-quality works!
Good, with that out of the way, I'd like to announce a slight change from usual protocol. I have thought about this as I tallied everyone's votes, and I've come to the conclusion that three entries wasn't a large enough sample for such a high-quality entry pack. Therefore, I have decided that this time, exceptionally, every entry that scored 16 and over will become a demo. This means that the top FIVE (5) entries will earn their place in NSF scene history!
Now now, enough chitchat. Here comes the bit everyone wants to see:
I really didn't expect this, but it looks like I won! Congratulations to Ares64 (of smurrrrrfs fame), InterrobangPie (Dubmood: 3D Galax), ArchJ (who, for the longest time was actually second with his Megaman remix pack) and Raijin (for his outstanding Badass Shmup vs. Metal Pinball). Along with my Tim Follin cover, they will all become part of FamiTracker and indeed NSF history. :D
Again, if you scored above 15, you should be pretty damn proud of yourself. The fight for 6th place is very very close, and indeed the entire top half of the scoreboard shuffled around quite a bit, bar the top 4 entries pretty much.
Anyway, I hope this DC installment has been loads of fun for you (it's been extremely fun for me at any rate)! See you in a few moments for DC6! ^^

Rules and guidelines:
There's so many entrants I've run out of space in my post! You may download the rules in the attached text file.
As always, let me know if you see anything wrong with the rules (either here or in private). And on that note, best of luck to all, and I hope the turn-out for this contest will be as massive as I expect it to be! B)

Did you mean only instead of not?
Edit: Oh wait, there's two nots. Okay. I misread it; I'd maybe suggest only instead of not not, though, because it would have less chance to be misread like I just did.
Good point, I'll edit the OP. Guess I should stop writing posts like this one in the wee hours of the morning!
