This is what happens when you open .ftm files with a browser instead of FamiTracker. :P

If you don't get an option when you click on the attachment links, right-click them instead and choose "Save As..." or "Save Target As..." or "Save Link As...".... something like that. Then open them with FT.

Based off the photo it looks like you downgraded to Windows Vista.

Post a winver screenshot and then maybe I'll believe this is Win9.

Also yeah this happens when MIME types aren't properly set on the server you're downloading from (Dropbox is one notorious case of this happening). If the server hasn't defined .ftm as being an "octet-stream" type of file, clicking a link to an FTM causes the browser to open it as a text file. From there, saving the web page solves the problem.

MIME type issue in Windows 8, anyone?

That's what happens when you associate FTM files to IE instead of FamiTracker.

Sorry I meant IE-9, not Windows 9.
But I downloaded Firefox and it's fine now.
