A groove table editor and a groove effect, much like those of LSDJ, would be tremendously useful in Famitracker; you'd be able to set grooves (for swing, for example) without having to key them in manually and take up a whole effect column.
There would probably have to be a groove editor window, like the instrument editor window, except you'd have a groove editor panel similar to the frame editor panel and any options you'd need, like groove number.
The effect would just point to a groove number (W1F would start groove 1F).
