I downloaded VirtuaNSF, but I can't find any sound files to use for it. Is there like an NSF resource site or something, because I went through Google for the past hour trying to track down the NSF for Type-A (Tetris) and S.S. Anne (Pokemon). Something tells me there aren't NSFs for GameBoy games, but what the heck.
[url=http://www.zophar.net/music.html]Here is a pretty decent resource site.
GBS files are what contain Gameboy music, by the way. You can find GBS players on that site as well.
Any .FTM file you find on this site can be exported into an NSF file as well using FamiTracker. File > Create NSF will let you do that.
I think the biggest commercial NSF archive (NSFs ripped from NES ROMs) is the [url=http://akumunsf.good-evil.net/]Akumu archive. It's not a complete archive, but it's pretty damn close. I guess Zophar works too (most - if not all - of the rips are the same in both) but Akumu has a convenient "Download all" button that lets you download the entire site in one convenient ZIP file.
Sadly, as far as homemade NSFs go... There isn't any one go-to place. There used to be the 2a03.org NSF archive (google it), but it hasn't been updated in over 5 years I think. It isn't being maintained anymore... But the old archive is still up for grabs. I think ui is in the process of making an archive of his own, but I'm not sure whether it's still in project state or if there is actually an archive somewhere. Might be worth investigating!
[url=http://2a03.free.fr/]ChiptuneUp! is another cool place where many chiptunes of different formats are shared (but mostly NSFs). I have a folder there as "Shock" (my former username), as do many members here.
Another interesting place is [url=http://www.mmlshare.com/]MMLShare. It's a small (but growing) community of people who make NSFs using ppMCK, a text-based compiler. The site basically has a built-in implementation of the compiler, so you just type, save and it compiles the NSF for you. It also gives you a convenient link to download the NSF so you don't have to listen to it on the build-in Flash NSF player.
Ah, you might also want to check out the Famicompo archive. Famicompo is an annual online NSF competition held in Japan (but open to people from everywhere), and this year was the 8th edition of the contest. You can find the archives [url=http://famicompo-mini.com/]here (download links are at the bottom).
Guess that's it! I'll post more if I think of other potential sources. :)
By the way, this belongs in FamiTracker Talk, so I'll just move it there. ;)

I record (some) NSFs on hardware. Feel free to [url=http://www.famitracker.com/forum/posts.php?id=3633]request a hardware render.
Well, now I'm looking for a GBS player, and all I'm finding are plugin or winamp ones (I don't even know what they are), and I found one for Linux... (Who even uses Linux anyway?)
And yea, I wasn't sure where to make this thread, haha.
I use foo_gep (foobar2000 plugin) for GBS playback... It's actually a very good and versatile program that'll let you play virtually any file format out there with the right plugin.
I'm not really sure where you should look that you haven't already though.

Ehhh... Plugins, wips, winamps... I don't even know what this stuff is, let alone how the heck I can get it to work. Is it too much to ask for a nice little desktop icon that opens up a simple GBS or NSF (or WTF) player?
If it wasn't already obvious, I have no idea what I'm doing.
WIP = Work In Progress (i.e. the archive isn't done but there is work being done to achieve completion on it).
Winamp is just a basic media player for Windows (and other platforms), as is foobar2000. Plugins are small components that add functionality to those players (such as NSF or GBS files, for example).
There are several standalone NSF players (I compiled a list of those players [url=http://famitracker.com/wiki/index.php?title=List_of_NSF_players]here. I haven't heard of any dedicated standalone GBS players though, which is why I recommend you [url=http://www.foobar2000.org/download]download foobar2000 as well as the [url=http://www.foobar2000.org/components/view/foo_gep]Game EMU Player component. The plugin should probably come with installation instructions. Note that this will also let you play NSF files, but there exist better players if you want more accuracy... ;)
