I'm requesting a feature that will enable the user to delay a specified effect by xx amount of frames. This will allow the user to initiate effects on specific frames, without having to create multiple instruments with releases built for specific instances. This would also eliminate the need to work at speed 1 to achieve this level of control; working at speed 1 eliminates the practicality of composing under a swung tempo or an altered tempo(Fxx switching at higher speed settings).
If I might suggest an additional, yet optional(via module properties), fx column(s). Perhaps 5 characters long, allowing the user to specify the effect and the amount of frames to delay it by:
Oh hmm, seems interesting, but the one thing that put me off using Sunvox (at least), is the huge amounts of effects columns (000 is a lot less intimidating than 00000, if you will), though the optional could be useful.
I was actually expecting this to be described as it's own effect, but I guess that'd sort of be redundant. Which reminds me, why is delay Gxx anyway?
I'd prefer some more globally useful effects be implemented sooner (like a note release effect symmetrical to Sxx), but it's an interesting one.

Adding two digits to every effect column involves messing around with the very basis of the tracker; I don't think it's an easy thing to do and even if it's at all within the realm of possibility, given the amount of feature requests, bugs to fix and the 5B yet to be added, it likely won't happen anytime soon.
For this reason, I think a dedicated effect, though not as handy, is probably a better compromise.

I record (some) NSFs on hardware. Feel free to request a hardware render.

My suggestion wasn't to add two digits to every effect column, but add a special column upon activation. This is what I was suggesting with my photo edit thing in the last post. It would be adding, not rearranging; the original four fx columns would be left untouched and exactly the same.

Oh right, in which case that seems a lot more plausible.
