FamiTracker
I think I'm getting really rusty with FamiTracker now...
I purposely went against Nesman's wishes made a little derivative of one of [url=http://famitracker.com/forum/posts.php?id=3469]his epic fail songs (Atariesque). I was trying to go for something almost medieval in style, but I've hit a road block (or had severe cerebral diarrhea, whichever you want to call it) & couldn't complete it.
Does anyone want to help me out here? I can't even think of a title for it, let alone anymore patterns for further progress.

Maybe you're over-thinking it - you're essentially making a parody, right? So just try to stay the course and mirror the whole song frame-for-frame with a medieval spin.
I should think that the more closely you follow the original, the more it would piss him off, anyway. :D

But I'm actually not trying to make a full-out cover; Nesman's original still sounds pretty bad with his lack of decent DMC samples & that horrendous use of the 0C0 effect. I'm just trying to make a somewhat unique derivative of it for use in my still-incomplete final OST.
And FYI, due to Nesman's epic douche bag attitude, doing anything involving any of his shoddy work will get him butthurt (including derivatives, remixes, covers & modifications of any kind to his original FTM/NSF files). So, my doing this is enough to troll him. :P

EDIT: Check the attachment. It's extended & slightly modified from Glitch_King's addition. It seems like it's worth adding to my OST, but if anyone has something to improve this, go for it.

This sounds like a totally new song that can be programmed into Hero Quest.
But alas, as much as I like this edit, the ending portion wasn't what I was going for. But, feel free to keep this one as your own, man; it's awesome enough to be incorporated into your own OST (& will most likely be more successful than mine).

Another thing you could have done, Roykeru, was use the 7xx effect for a tremolo (which is, what I think, you were trying to do with those S05 effects in the two last frames). The tremolo could also prove smoother than the S05 effects because you can control the tremolo's speed & volume fade level.
There is a little issue with discord, but you've managed it fairly well by the fact that the MMC5 squares are louder than the 2A03 squares. If there's one thing I'd recommend, it's that you should avoid using the triangle channel as a drone when you repeat the whole song. Because the 2A03 squares have a melody, the triangle drone note will conflict with them; you should either use a note-stop to prevent the drone note from playing, or create a new frame with a new triangle pattern & end it all with a B01 effect.
Don't worry; it's not that you're "not the greatest in FamiTracker." It's just that some genres are a bit more difficult to pull off, depending on the composer (for example, I'm fine with traditional/medieval/horror, but I'd do horrendous at Capcom-style or other things like that). I've seen your YouTube channel & must say you're pretty darned good at FamiTracker, honestly.

I actually didn't intend the song to loop back to the very beginning because I felt like more could have been added from what I did before it was loop worthy. I guess I should of clarified that I intentionally left off any effect for it to loop.

I generally find myself better at orchestral music, which doesn't bother me.
