I say 'possible' because I'm not sure if this is intended behaviour or unintended.

Mute everything but namco 2 and namco 3. Notice that when both are on, the third echo is at full volume -AND- plays on the wrong channel, yet when only namco 2 or namco 3 is on no such anomaly happens.

Both your N163 instruments were in memory pos. 0, which causes conflicts. Also, your lead and echo use the same instrument, which has a wave envelope in it. This means every time a note plays in the echo channel, the wave envelopes plays in the lead channel as well. You need to watch out for that.

That fixed it, thanks :D

Another problem I'm having now is: I moved Namco 3 into Namco 2 (single channel echo) and whenever a note plays in Namco 2 it starts a new note in Namco 1, e.g. the slapbass plays triplets whenever Namco 2 echoes. Is there a fix for this as well?

I can't really help unless you post the FTM.
