Is it possible to add swing to your famitracker tune? I've heard some people say that messing with the tempo shortens some ticks and lengthens others... is there a science to that, could it be achieved that way? Or perhaps there's a conventional way that I've overlooked...

There are a couple agreed upon ways.

One is to alternate tempo changes between fast and slow markings, so that things that are on the upbeat are now on the third triplet note.

The other is to change the row highlight and the lines-per-frame so that you're actually writing a song in 6/8 or some other waltzy or swung meter.

track 8 has manual swing using gxx effects

The FTM was done by someone else but I changed the wonky Gxx biz to funky Fxx swang :D
