Hi, still pretty new to famitracker, but I think this is a bug rather than my mistake - when I load an FDS channel up in conjunction with Namco channels, the FDS instrument won't work - instead, when I try and play a key on the instrument, the cursor skips back to the nearest pulse (?) channel. FDS works fine when Namco channels aren't loaded.
As a side note, all of my square channels now are labelled "pulse" - although they're quite clearly still square channels. If you could let me know what's going on that'd be great!

Well the multi expansion .ftm-s are "unofficial" and simply hex edited modules. The skipping thing was already discussed in the Multi-Expansion thread. It's just the way it is.
About the renaming...well, the correct term IS supposed to be pulse or rectangle, and square only means the symmetric 50% pulse, so it's actually correct now.
All Square channels were renamed to Pulse in 0.3.8 to make way for the upcoming 5B expansion's actual Square channels (because they only play 50% pulse waves). AND well, because that's what they are - pulse wave generators.
And yeah, multi-expansion is an unsupported feature currently. The NSF format supports it but the current NSF exporter in FT does not. Not to mention, if I were you I'd avoid the feature altogether since anything you do with more than one expansion could potentially end up not loading up in future versions of the program when the program, NSF driver and perhaps even the whole FTM container have been rewritten to support it. Not to mention it's buggy, unreliable and most importantly unsupported right now.
