More Important:
1. I have red-deficient vision, so subtle changes in the amount of red in something are hard for me to detect. So, when something changes from black or near-black to red, especially to a dark red, it's virtually impossible for me to tell. So when a channel is muted and the only graphical indication is that the channel's name is printed in red, I can hardly tell the difference. Can there please be some additional indication, say with a little icon, or perhaps a user-definable Mute Channel Text color? Note that my particular deficiency is rather common among human males, so this really wouldn't just be for me.

Less Important:
2. How hard would it be to make each individual channel have its own waveform readout? I think that would be kinda cool: you could see what each looks like individually and then see how the combination looks in that little window that's already there.

Thanks!

Hi!

1. I'll look into adding an additional graphical indication of whether a channel is muted or not. I was not aware of this being a problem for some people, thanks for letting me know.

2. Probably not too hard, but all channels are mixed before they are downsampled so that would require some work to handle. I can take a note of it, but I think it'll have low priority.

Understood. Regarding the channel muting thing, it could be as simple as changing the color of the light grey background on the top of the channel — you know, where the channel name and volume readout and stuff are found — to a darker grey or something.

I had another idea, too. What if there were an effect, we'll call it, say, Kxx, that would simply add xx additional rows to just the one frame? It would be useful if you were writing a song that had just one or two parts where you want an extra measure or couple beats or whatever, but you don't want to add an entire frame just for that, and you aren't doing it enough to justify increasing the number of rows in the song and throwing in Dxx effects all over the place.

If you do need to see individual waveforms, you could always mute/solo to look at just one of them.

This much is true. I don't really need this feature, though, I just thought it'd be cool.

I think it would be great to have frames with independent lengths like in Milkytracker instead. It would be slightly more useful.
