jsr, why is the current non-beta version of FamiTracker 0.3.7 and not 1.something? It's pretty much a great program as it is now. Is it just that you don't want to call it 1.0 until you've squashed some number of bugs, or maybe that you're waiting until you support all the expansions ever? I suppose it's just a matter of philosophy.
I don't have a good answer actually, I haven't though much about it myself. The first couple of releases was very incomplete so a low version number was justified back then I guess, but then I never bothered to adjust it.
after all expansions are supported and all the bugs created by that are cleared up, and other outstanding features are added so that it's pretty much complete features-wise, that'd be a good time to release it as 1.x IMO. from thereon it might just be bug fixes. who knows when this will be though :J
