I've also disabled channel multiplexing when using less then seven channels, to avoid the problems caused by the resampler.

Yeah, but the multiplexing is still there of course. The reason I don't constantly complain about it personally is because I pretty much said all I had to say about it before. It's just as annoying as before imo.

Here's a bug I assume is Wine exclusive, since nobody else has reported it yet. Like most wine-bugs it's circumventable and just a bit annoying.

The instrument editor doesn't let you select graphs by clicking their name, but clicking the checkbox works fine.

Also, having to change the tab to DPCM and back after first opening the instrument editor is perfectly normal by Wine-standards. It would be neat if you fixed that too, but I believe we're all used to it by now!

EDIT: Also, would it be possible to have an option for disabling the N163 whine? I'd like to experiment with it, but I'd also like to keep my hearing

tripflag: That's odd, I have no idea why that list would allow multiple selections. I assume that is causing the problem.

Unfortunately I'm not able to help here as I don't use linux at the moment. Might try it in a VM later, but that will take some time.

It would be so cool if jsr released the beta tomorrow/today (depends on time zone) to be exactly one year after version 0.37.

A few days late, but here it is: the stable release. I decided to rename this to 0.4.0 since it was a long time since last release and because of the major additions that was made.

Special thanks to everyone who contributed with demo songs and jrlepage for arranging the compos!

A few changes since the last beta:
  • Files created and saved in this version will not be backwards compatible with older versions of the tracker, in order to avoid problems with the unsupported features. So backup your files if you need to use multiple versions!

  • The FDS channel and it's period table has been transposed 2 octaves to give access to more notes instead of being clipped in the top range. Old files should load correctly

  • The speed/tempo split-point has been sorted out, old files will have the old point for compatibility reasons and new files have the new one (which was the value actually listed in the help files all the time)

  • Some reported bugs has been fixed since last beta

Well, if improper crediting is a problem I can always retract your demo from the pack.

Bravo jsr for all the work that went into 0.4! And kudos to everyone who made it into the demo folder! :)

skinnyhead2000: I've added that problem to the FAQ (http://famitracker.com/wiki/index.php?title=Frequently_Asked_Questions), last question. Try that and see if it works.

Ares64: That's how I received the files from jrlepage.
