What I must do to play on famitracker by other software sequencer?
I try used Midi yoke but it's not work good.
Sound from famitracker is sometimes muted and I don't know how to change instrument number from other software sequencer by midi.
This will be great if this works.

I would really like to be able to play famitracker from something else too (another program, not just a keyboard). I haven't tried it myself but midiyoke seems like the way to go... Don't know what else to try.

I was thinking about this the other day, but more along the lines of being able to control the frame editor with a hardware controller, for sequencing patterns with total control over all the channels at once for live performances.

Like, maybe assigning each channel to a knob, and turning the knob increases or decreases the pattern number for that channel, give each channel its own mute button, a knob for tempo... etc.

That would be interesting too. I'm sure it's possible to modify famitracker to accept various kinds of input.

Wouldn't x|k's Midines be the better way to go for these purposes?

That would be the other way around. FamiTracker controlling the NES through MIDI.

Ooooh, a cart especially made for FamiTracker, would be awesome. x|k and jsr should make something together, could be the ultimate NES-music thing!

oh sorry
I don't know how to make video invisible in youtube search engine but visible for everyone who have link, so I upload this video to:

That you can see midi yoke is not so good for this. Something like rewire in reason for famitracker would be good.

I use FL Studio for my non-chip stuff. It would also be cool if this were a VST as well...

In the meantime, I'll keep dreaming. ^-^ I am quite happy with this tracker as a self-contained unit with MIDI-controllable features anyway.

How controllable is it though? Can you control things like duty cycles and volume using midi controllers?
