I LIKE IT. This is happening.

Except now I realize that not everyone obsessively checks their email like I do. Getting these permissions is becoming slower than I anticipated.

Also, no one has submitted anything. I've picked out a playlist for the first episode by myself fine, but it was mostly from my existing pool of good songs. That will probably run out sometime between the second and third episodes without any submissions. Chances are that I probably won't see that thing you're proud of without you showing it to me. submissions@icesoldier.me GOGOGO

Hey bro, you mind if I send you a 64 megabyte zip folder of some mp3 renderings of some modules (LSDJ and Famitracker) via Mediafire? I rendered them for someone else, so I have a lot of random crap in there as well. If you want me to expand or extend anything, just let me know...

I got your email; I'll have to look at the music when I'm not in class.

Something else I forgot to mention. I'd much rather receive FTMs or NSFs than audio renderings (mp3, wav, ogg, whatever). This is partially because the file sizes are much smaller, and partially because then I have proof that it is NES music and not fakebit. Also, at this moment, I am not interested in GB chiptune, but over time this may change.

I'll give it a listen, and either provide critique or ask to use one of the songs. (Others might be bookmarked for future episodes; I'll try, for now, not to feature one artist multiple times in the same episode.) This can be considered the general action for submissions. (Until I get swamped by submissions, but if that happens then I'll consider that a good thing.)

(EDIT: Also, post #30000.)

DOUBLE EDIT: Though if you're crazy/awesome enough to try multiple-2A03 music, then by all means, send me an mp3/wav/ogg/whatever, or tell me how syncplay works, since I've never dealt with it.

I can contribute some gameboy covers done using NES hardware if you want, seeing as I have your channel-splitting doohickey :D

It's really damn helpful dude you have no idea.

Let me know if you want any

If it's the "channel splitting doohickey" you want, it's in my signature. If it's the GB covers, then that's his thing, and for "Show Off Your Work".

Also, sure, send in your GB covers.

Okay, bro. I'll send you my modules later if I can find them all. However, it might be harder to send my LSDJ modules because I keep most of them on a backup card, don't name my saves according to songs, keep more than one song on a save, and you need a copy of LSDJ to run them. I really don't use anything but Famitracker and LSDJ, though.

At some point, I'm going to make a song with both Fami and LSDJ once I get my Midi-sync adaptor completely built.

Also, there are a couple of things that weren't in the ZIP that I want to send... so I'll get to that later...

If you don't mind backing up the saves, I have a copy of LSDJ. But it's okay if you just want to do a recording of those. It's not like there's a way to get it into a GBS.

How DO you back up saves for LSDj? I've been looking but I can't find anything. I ask because I want to contribute something sometime (and a friend used it in his MGB which drains the cart battery, so now it's like a time bomb).

I'd tune in. I might even share some tracks if you're interested.
