I recently got the idea of doing a podcast curating music made with FamiTracker, or NES/chiptune music in general. It'd be a bi-weekly or monthly thing, and I'd collect music from here, open submissions, and wherever I can find them. Would anyone be interested in following and/or submitting music to such a thing? Right now, this is a pretty nebulous idea, but it's definitely something I'd like to see happen.

EDIT: I'm probably gonna mentally base this off the flow of [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3TJRYIbNW-M]Hard With Style, except without the endless intrusions of "BRINGING YOU THE MUSIC THAT COMES FROM WITHIN" interrupting the actual music.

Alrighty, I've got a few potential listeners. Some more survey questions, then: How long should a single episode be? 30 minutes? 45? An hour? Also, what should I call it? I'll set up an email for submissions later today if I get more interest, otherwise I'll just source from my 'awesome FTMs' folder for a potential first episode.

I would say 30-40 min of music and 5~ min of talking. So probably no more than 45 min.

Alright, that time target sounds good. I've got an email account set up at submissions@icesoldier.me for now, if anyone wants to send in FTMs or NSFs for my collectio- I mean the podcast.

Hey, I'd be down for this. (listening/submitting).

I've listened to a couple of chiptune podcasts before. (Mostly recordings of live LSDJ/nanoloop stuff.)

Alright, I'm almost done getting a playlist together for the first episode, but I still want to figure out a good name. My working title up to this point has been "FTFTW", but I think that sounds lamer than I expect. Are there any other suggestions?

The phrase "What the Bleep" comes to mind. It's probably just as lame.

How about just "FamiTracks"?
