You can import a MIDI with FamiTracker, and then export an NSF. The results aren't usually very good though.

Well, there's no good general way to convert a MIDI to NSF, for starters. It's not a format that's very well suited to making NSFs. I mean, it'd be possible to write one, but there are better alternatives for making NSF music.

If your problem is that you already have a MIDI and want to make an NSF of it, well, I'd suggest copying it out by hand into FamiTracker. To get good results out of a 2A03 arrangement you would normally have to go through on a detailed level anyway.

Also, and I hate to suggest this, but if you just want a quick "8-bit" sound from a MIDI you might look up "GXSCC". YouTube is full of videos where people play midis through it and call them 8-bit remixes. These aren't NSFs, and they aren't good arrangements, but it might be the kind of thing you want.

The closest thing i have when importing a midi, was the huh.ftm file.
I imported an NSMB-athletic midi file. I am working on a SMW Ending ftm, piano style, I'm sending the ftm too.

I made a midi converter, long before I noticed that Famitracker also had one.
