Do you absolutely need it to use the 2A03? You could always try and have a go at the FDS. Or wait until the Namco 163 beta goes public...

It looks/sounds like two sawtooth waves. Waiting for the Namco expansion might be a good idea.

Yeah, you're right. Looking at the waveform in an editor, I think it is two saw waves and noise.
Here's a second attempt; added noise, and trying to get the arpeggios closer.
