Seriously, there is this important cover I must make, but the DPCM is so low it's...sad. Help?

Your best option is to make all the channels with volume control quieter until the DPCM sounds as loud as you want it to.

It's set that way on purpose, based on some idea of what the balance is like for a real VRC7 cart.

There should be a Channel mixer for at least the VRC7 in Famitracker...cause even if you use volume control on your channels and turn your speakers up, you're going to explode trying to lay down notes which will still play at maximum volume. That's the really annoying thing...and the triangle wave seems to get "crunched" when I use VRC7 as well.

It was a cover of "A Divine Proclamation for Finishing the Present Existance", performed by the band 'Last Days of Humanity'

The VRC7 is much louder than the internal hardware. Obviously, the TC will have to compensate for that. He can try using drums on the VRC7 or, like the trademark game Lagrange Point, use the pulse channels for drums.
