like how does it go. a breakdown music. is all it is just slowing the tempo, or does it have to make you want to move? what is the best way to go into it or your way? what is the best drum beat for the most epic breakdown, or what is your most epic breakdown drum beat? can a break down have a flowing glossy lead pumping arpeggios. or not. not at all is a break down only meant to be crunchy, simple yet original rhythms.

^^^^TELL ME^^^^

i want to know and if you feel like it i think it would be really cool if you made a short doodle of what you think is a epic breakdown. rhythmic and emotionally- just like really epic.

^^^MAKE ONE^^^

My definition: Breakdown - A section of a song that has most of the instrumentation stripped away.

Here's wikipedia's definition:

same thing, dude.

"A section where the composition is deliberately deconstructed to minimal elements (usually the percussion or rhythm section with the vocal re-introduced over the minimal backing), all other parts having been gradually or suddenly cut out."

It doesn't have to do with slowing the tempo down.

He said brakedown, so I guess slowing the song down is pretty mandatory.

A brakedown...

Brake - To slow or an object used to slow

Down - Reduction or direction opposite of up

Brake + Down - Slow Reduction

A brakedown is where it speeds up... How could you not get it? OH MA GAH PASTRY misread brakedown as PUTTING THE brake down.

... I just overthought it didn't I?
I can sense the smell of her snatch as it hunts me down

If this is the sort of music you listen to, then you'd best be looking for help here.

I mean, what the fuck. I'm glad I prefer men.

Well, I guess you don't mean a percussion break.

And... all I hear is a dying cow going through a broken cement plant. 0_o But maybe it's just me. Not my choice in death metal...
