Here's the latest of my most epic track ever. The thematic elements are coming together and it kinda almost feels like there's a story being evoked. It's gonna get a lot darker coming up...

Ok so I expanded the intro a bunch (harmonies!), tweaked the main melody some more, extended a couple sections that needed more time to build, improved the drums (a lot) so they compliment each part better, and fixed things that needed fixing.
edit: improved the intro, tweaked the melody yet again (last time was too much), melody now loops once before transitioning, and other small tweaks.
edit2: extended the middle section and added a new part at the end. things are getting dark, how will I make it out alive?
edit3: a little progress on the new part. not sure how I'm going to transition back to happy but I'll find a way.

Robro, your tune is epic and it needs its own thread! You're one of my favourite famitrackers, I like your styles and melodies. Plus, you're in Flight of the Conchords.
So, anyway, I pretty much robbed your hi-pass bass for this (weak sounding affair next to your EPIC tune in the short loops section).
The basic idea was to make a SID-ish sounding loader track.

Not bad for a beginner. It's kinda sticky. Maybe you could try controlling the volume on the pulse channels to make them sound better. And remember: THE TRIANGLE CHANNEL DOESN'T HAVE A DUTY SETTING, NOR VOLUME CONTROL(I saw a V02 effect on it, which controls duty phase, but it does nothing). I had many mistakes with that, but you'll learn all of that as you get used to the tracker. Keep improving your techniques, and, ummmmm... Welcome to the forum(and the 8-bit music world of Famitracker).
EDIT: You can read the help file, the wiki, or ask other members if you want to learn some things about the tracker(techniques, effects, instruments, and all those kinds of things). But if you want to ask someone, you must use the "Famitracker Talk" section.
Note that until Delek fixes Deflemask's NSF export, you'll need to disable phase reset on $4003 and $4007 write to disable the clicking noise you hear when a vibrato is used.
