Sure has been a while. Found myself inspired by the first rainfall I've experienced in months.

edit: messed with the melody a bit and made a better sounding vrc7 instrument

edit2: melody adjustments

edit3: melody tweaks ;_;

edit4: improved melody (final??!?)

edit5: nope

edit6: this is it

edit7: more percussion

edit8: simplified melody

edit9: MORE MELODY TWEAKS (kill me)

edi10: nailed it

edit11: took out awkward octave jump and made the final bar of the melody more consistent

edit12: expanded on the intro arp part

Robro: I really enjoy what you have going here, but I liked the original better for lack of drums... Not that the drums are bad, but you should maybe carry a few frames with just the cymbals and add the triangle and the drums later? Just a thought.

I know what you mean. I have a tendency to jump straight to the "good stuff" instead of letting things build more gradually. I'll play with the progression and see if I can stretch it out more.

Yeah that's what the first two OHCs I tried were (I sucked at them lol). I'm trying to get into more but they always seem to happen when I'm at work or asleep, and this one happens to coincide perfectly with my lunch hour at work so I'll keep doing it for a while (e.g. until daylight savings changes again lol)
