Yeah, it does sound a lot like you version, though yours is more of a cover, while mine is more of a absolute and complete remake. your's still sounds very good.

EDIT: Love your cover of the dungeon theme, too.

Ditching DPCM for my first shot at noise+triangle-only drums. Also trying out a combination of triangle and square bass which sounds pretty cool.

edit: made triangle kicks punchier, upped the tempo a bit, and added some stuff

edit: extended intro a bit

edit: echo! echo! echo! and some other tweaks

you should resolve it in a satisfactory manner and then give it the thread it deserves~!

thanks man! a friend of mine (who's a much better musician and chiptune artist than myself) is collaborating with me on this track now, so it's gonna get fleshed out and made much more awesome!

I'll definitely give it a thread when finished.

Here's my first doodle with the N163. It's for a friend's webcomic.

The theme is the innocence and peacefulness of creatures that dwell beneath the ground.

Does anyone want to help me finish this? I initially wrote it with the key of Fmaj in mind but at this point it could also be Cmaj.

Credit for the instruments goes to Digital Devil Story.

A short victory fanfare I made using the Sunsoft instruments (credit goes to moviemovies1 for the whole pack.) I was too lazy to delete all the unused instruments. :P

And a very random sound effect I made for no reason at all.
