My first attempt at something original. It's very short, but I think it sounds cool. Opinions?
I think the triangle bass line walks around too much/in a disorienting way (I think because with it moving around you've lost the last thing that strongly implies what scale degree you're in, and everything else is also moving around complexly)
The drums could be made more interesting by having pitch changes in the first few frames (for instance, hi-hats often have slight upwards changes, snares sharp upward increases from a very low pitch so you get a 'pop' and so on)
Also, when doing an original, I think it works a little better to have a lot thought out/planned out for one of the instruments and then fill everything else out around it, rather than do every instrument for one pattern and kind of get yourself 'stuck' with something that loops well on its own but doesn't lend you a logical next place to go. It depends on the person, though. For example, I plan my songs lead melody first, but other people prefer chord progression first or drums first.
So, uhhh... long time, no see. After an indeterminable period of time, I've decide to sit down and try to make something in FamiTracker. The result is this below.

It's similar to what I do my own songs, just on a higher level. The use of S02 for 'tri licks' is really good too. The trick to making tri sound good though is having 1 frame of octave higher at the start of notes, as well as tri kick and tri snare starts.
@ipi Dis is really good~ I would let the ending linger a beat or two longer
