nope this thread isnt another lame "how do you do this?" thread - its actually to point out a tool that is not very well known which converts S3M files to NSF... even with the VRC6 - quite cool - check it out

http://ekid.nintendev.com/nes.htm

JSR really has got to play catch up if he wants famitracker to still be the best option out there - i would suspect it wouldnt be that hard to catch up tho... *nudge nudge* JSR

oh... a standard tracker format for the PC... scream tracker 3 format - the impulse tracker format is also based on s3m and impulse saves s3m files... as does modplug, and maybe renoise too

Let's see now... Ah, here we are.

Also, it looks like you can make your own S3M files with Impulse Tracker, and maybe Renoise too.

That wasn't funny. I should have asked "is there an archive for these files?"

Why exactly do you need to find S3Ms rather than make them?

umm... scream tracker 3 or impulse tracker... or modplug tracker... i cant believe you've never heard of s3m files... thats like the basics of tracking *sigh* *faint* *revive* *etc*

edit: yeah wait... why do you need to find them instead of make them? whats the point of that nonsense? you cant convert any old song you have to use the samples that come w/ the program to get it to work correctly

I could see how this could come in handy, especially if you're an old-school tracker and have your own S3Ms from waaaaay back in the day...
coolness.

As well as you.[/quote]See, what you're doing here is not learning from your damn mistakes, instead basically going "NO U" like a 10 year old. If you would just stop doing all the stupid stuff you do, research things and figure them out for yourself, and stop lying, you'd be a lot more respected and liked on the internet. Nobody gives respect to people who pretend to be more than they are.
