Hi, If you do not know me, I am from:

AtariAge.Com (Alias: Atarihacker),
DigitalMZX.Net (Alias: SmilyMZX),

Nesdev Forums (Nesdev.Com/BBS/)
and RomHacking.Net

The reason I came here today is the bad MIDI support. And I would Like to have FamiTracker with an option to import *.IT files to create a compilation ROM.

Plus, There is the problem with music ram @ $0200-$02FF in Sprite RAM. If you can make an option that will put the music RAM to a user-defined place, these two would be the best.

By doing one of the four options:

* Implent (Open)MPT's midi import engine,

* NSF2MID-compatible midi import,

* (Perferred) Import 4/5-channel IT and XM files without using IT/XM samples with Replacement Square, Triangle, etc, Samples.

(In other words, No required IT Samples that try to emuate the real thing. An Advantage of this is Importing without Replacing samples or anything that has that much stress!),

* or Rewrite your own
