change the patterns. You know, you people really are starting to piss me off. You could look at the tutorial, you could look at the help file that COMES WITH FAMITRACKER, but you choose to be stupid. I don't know how everyone else around here can stand it but I can't. Enough is enough. RTFM

People are too lazy to rtfm. I know, because I've written some myself, many of which had big red text all over the place reading "read the manual carefully!" but I still had countless people come to my forum complaining that they couldn't get it to work and it invariably proved to be because they read the manual wrong, or just skimmed through it, or not at all.

Maybe the manual should be presented in a way that people can't miss it? Also, by answering his question instead of ignoring his post altogether, you're only making things worse. If people learn they can come here with every question, they'll keep at it.

Maybe there should be a noob forum so that the main forum doesn't get cluttered with stuff like this?

Well, I didn't tell him how to do it, but I did at least let him know what to look for.

What do you mean?
I think you have to change the pattern number on the far left top lil box from 00 to 01 and you have a new pattern, is that what you mean?
or do you wana loop the song or what? if so you put B and in the xx put the number frame you want. read the help file dawg! it realy helps alot!

edit:
the Bxx gos in the FX to the right of a pattern, make shure to put it in a pattern that isnt used anywhere else in the tune or else you will loop in a undesired area

Hello Greendub,
I think I know what your problem is, if I do, the solution is actually really simple.
When you add a new line of frames (top left), it automatically sets all the frames to 0. The 0 frame is the first one, hence your "introduction".
You need to manually change the frame number (and eventually frame order) in order to get your song to navigate through the patterns you have composed (the song "parts" ).
Please look at the picture I attached, as an image is worth a thousand words, =D
Also a note, activating the "change all" box will change all the pattern numbers in the upper left case (the pattern editor, this makes it easy to first set up your patterns, or frames, and then write partitions for every channel as the song goes.
Hope it helps!
PS_sorry for the possible mistakes in the terms I used, I get sometimes confused about what is called what etc...

those are patterns. not frames. you called the patterns frames.

frame > pattern > row
