After thinking hard about my next game, I have decided to make a kind of "funny" one.
Yuccatosis Invaders.
The game engine is much like galaga, space invaders, radiant (I phone game) and I don't need a very big sound track.
This being said I have one song so far. I don't know about more.
Edit- knowing that the FTMs say "FINAL BOSS MWHAHAHAHAHA" this is because I planned for this song to be a final boss, but never changed it.

I would definitely agree with Fezuke on this one, you certainly are improving somewhat. Congrats Yucca
as for the music, the first thing that comes to mind after the.. well.. yucca-ness is that both 2A03 squares are playing the ..exact...same...notes...
my advice to you is to only use one channel instead of two playing the exact same notes. It would be quite beneficial as the song should sound less cluttered (remember kinkinetc?)
if you only use one channel instead of duplicates and find that one channel does not seem loud enough, simply lower the volume of all the other channels to compensate.
Other than that, keep working on training your ear to listen for what notes sound good together so that you can avoid replicating the sound of a dying cat.
Oh, and I liked what you did with the vrc6 squares.
Well I'm glad to see im improving, But this next song is more of and experiment with what Moot showed me.
He used a little bit of difference in the second loop with the DPCM, considering this is a shorter loop, I wanted to used the SAW instead.
Hardcore mode is where objects fly at you and you start with one life.
I'm going for a calm mood. IRONICALLY
(Spawn will also be in this, but I didn't bother to do that considering we know what it is.)

You know what yucca? That itsn't half bad. Good job, i'm serious.
of course it isn't perfect, but keep at it. I'm really starting to think you're getting somewhere.
btw, don't forget what I said about duplicate channels. why not use the sawtooth channel to compliment the song, instead of simply using it the same way you used the square 1 and triangle channels?
Well, sorry zeph, I can't seem to get something to complement the square, maybe I'll try again later, but here's my last/second to last post on this thread.
mutiplayer/survival mode is where asteroids are tring to hit you and
shooting them earn points, Multiplayer is timed, and survival isn't.
I think this tune is slightly repetitive, but is really upbeat

Ok I found some small mistakes.
Multiplayer- (which won't be in the game so it is basically survival now) Saw was adjusted at the end.
Hardcore- Triangle didn't match square one half of the frames.
These changes are very small, but it was to show that most of this was accidental
Probably going to make one last song for the menu.
