I was wondering if this is possible? I'm not good with code - and i want to play my tunes on my power-pak from retro USB. what do you think? how about an export to ROM feature - it can't be too hard.

You're not only not good with code... The above is a link to the 10th thread from the top in this very forum (9th from the top before you started this thread)

Now that you mention it, I do spend my life in forums. It's kind of sad, really. I was just messing with you anyway.

And yeah, technically, he's already added it, he just hasn't released anything since he did... I guess he has a life, just like you.

hello animalstyle, there is indeed a .NES export WIP, to be found here:

I tried it with two test .NES files, one containing a single song, and the other containing 2 songs. I tried the .nes files with a few emulators, and it worked perfectly.
The only drawback is that I can't seem to be able to navigate to the subsong of the second test (test02).
I have absolutely no knowledge of the inner workings of the 2a03, nor of emulation, but there might be a way to configure the emulator to switch between songs at a given time, or command (ie "start")... please excuse my lack of knowledge on the subject.

I attach my tests for reference.
Good luck!

HOLY CRAP - THANX~!~!~!~!

ITS LIKE CHRISTMAS~!

maybe talk to Don Miller about that one

...he might know whats up with that - he's been wrting this reggae DJ rom that controls the 2a03.

plus - he has experience with song switching from alex's cart and my upcoming cart...
