I don't really know what to do for music making lately...

Well this Ftm of three songs is meant for an eerie tower.

I know theme 3 probably isn't my best, but whatever.

yay

This is SO styled off of Wizards and Warriors. I just had to adjust to the sounds a little.

I dug the second song the most. They just need a little sharpening up, that's all.

That vibrato seriously makes me cringe.

Other than that, these aren't very good, I'm sorry to say.

yucca70; try using either the Pxx effect for vibrato, or use a lower value for the 4xx effect (i.e.: don't use 4x3 or anything above that on high-pitched notes). If I were you, I'd even use 431 (if not use alternating P7F-P81 bends).

I'm sorry yucca but there really is no harmony in the songs. Most of the notes clash horribly with each other.

GAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

Yucca, please don't improve at any point in time. I love you too much to see you succeed.

Just pull a K4 and don't listen to any criticism you get.

Yeah Yucca, I don't say it's a bad thing. It sounds unique at least

Theres a real reason I wanted to make this-

I recently found out I have a "chord book" on my keyboard.
(Casio CTK-401)
But the switch to turn it on take me over 9000 times to turn on, AND a battery leaked in there.

Looks like interrobang pie wins this time, until I can get the keyboard to turn on.

Trust me, I'm not trolling, I do try, and I try to listen to criticism, If you feel like I'm K4ing again, then I'm sorry.(ever since the horrible Halloween thread I've tried my best.)

EDIT- What do you think I should do to make this song sound better?

Well, some triangle bass (rather than weird flute-y lead) would help the tune a lot.

Learning some more about chords/scales will help you tremendously. I like what you're going for - it's a great idea, but it suffers from a lack of tonal center.

I actually like the first tune the best of the three, so I did some edits to it as an example of what I mean. I didn't spend a whole lot of time on it, just a quick few reworkings. Whether it's an improvement or not is entirely up to you.

I made it build the 2nd time around with more drums. Ideally, it would take a while to build to this, but you get the point.

Wow, thanks, this really makes it the way I intended it!
Using more drums the second time around was a great idea, Only thing I don't like so much is the square in the first frame, But I still love it for that.

Also, When i can get my toaster like keyboard to work, I was thinking of creating some sort of "chord book" thread, no idea if there's something like that, the music theory thread really got me lost... Maybe... just Maybe... This chord book is a cure... (as much as Interrobang pie will hate this) For yuccatosis...

Yucca, instead of abusing the 433, I'd suggest adding a -1 0 arppegio string. Gives it that PuyoPuyo feel.
