Use DPCM drums, maybe just use noise for hihat.

Here. An example of DPCM drums and noise hihat, using your song. Feel free to take these samples, though I think you should snoop through the instrument thread and find the sample archive.

kinkinkijkin, Thank you for your your example. Yeah that sound is a lot better. We were wondering if the drums might be too much. I really liked the kick sound we got, but I did not know about the snare. So do you guys take DPCM samples a lot from the archive? Is that to make things go quicker? Well anyways I will listen to what you said and not just take the easy way out. I will look for my own DPCM. Thanks a lot for the help. We'll finish this song and post it.

Ok, and it's just a zip of some starter samples found in alot of NES communities.

PS: The samples I used where not from the archive. I took the kick from icesoldier, and the snare from betasword's separate archive.
