Is the only difference between patch 14 and 15 a vibrato? They seem more similar than any of the other patches.

The short answer is no, there are quite a few differences, here's the patch data:

Patch 14: 0x61, 0x22, 0x0D, 0x02, 0xC3, 0x7F, 0x24, 0x05

Patch 15: 0x21, 0x62, 0x0E, 0x00, 0xA1, 0xA0, 0x44, 0x17

What these mean is explained here: http://kevtris.org/nes/vrcvii.txt

FamiTracker uses VRC7 fixed patch settings from here:

Here, I felt like building a set of instruments that mirror the hard coded patches. (Also posted to instruments thread).

Couldn't anybody do the same by using 0.3.7's copy/paste instrument data feature? :p

Besides, Eletious, you would've known the answer to your question if you had bothered to look at the two instruments in 0.3.7, which displays VRC7 default instrument data.

I don't think I have 0.3.7, I think i have 0.3.6, because when I went to look at it it was just greyed out markers and check boxes that were at the lowest settings. I should probably download the latest version though.
